Elevations End of Life

Free online support group

The Caregiver Circle

An hour a week with people who already understand. No fee, no commitment, and nobody will tell you what you should be doing.

When we meet

Wednesdays
7:00 pm Eastern
Open circle: whatever the week brought
Sundays
10:00 am Eastern
Themed circle: one topic, one practice to take home

Online video call, 60 minutes, camera optional. Free, no registration fee, drop in as often as you need. Times are US Eastern.

Who comes

  • Spouses, adult children, parents, siblings, chosen family, anyone doing the caring
  • People caring for someone on hospice or approaching the end of life
  • People caring at home, in a nursing home, or from far away
  • Former caregivers still finding their footing after a death

How it runs

  • No advice unless you ask for it.
  • What is said in the circle stays in the circle.
  • You can arrive late, leave early, or sit quietly with your camera off.
  • You are welcome whether caregiving started last week or nine years ago.

A typical hour: a short welcome, a minute of quiet, then we go around for anyone who wants to speak. Some weeks we close with a small comfort touch practice you can use that same night. You are never obliged to join in.

Save your seat

We will email you the link and a short note about what to expect. Your details are never shared, sold, or listed anywhere public.

Peer support, not therapy or medical advice. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line.

Questions people ask first

Do I have to talk in the support group?

No. Plenty of people come for months and mostly listen. You can keep your camera off and type in the chat instead.

Is the circle only for people whose person is on hospice?

No. Any caregiving counts: dementia, cancer, stroke, frailty, long illness. Many members are nowhere near hospice, and some have already had their loss.

Is any of this therapy or medical advice?

No. The circle is peer support, and the videos and handouts are general comfort care education. Anything specific to your person belongs with their nurse, doctor or hospice team.

I am a massage therapist. Can I join the circle too?

The Wednesday and Sunday circles are for family caregivers. Therapists have their own peer sessions through the hub, and the CE classes are where the professional learning happens.
